A. K.,
There are a couple of documents included in the tar file that define
the center ids, provide metadata for forecast cycle length,
initialization times,
and available parameters under the "tigge_processing/downloadscripts/
docs" directory.
Additional information can be found under: http://tigge.ucar.edu/documentation.htm
and specifically in the document:
http://dss.ucar.edu/download/tigge/tiggedocumentation.pdf
The "README" file located in the tigge_processing/downloadscripts also
provides a listing of useful links, along with a brief
description of how to use the download tools.
You can access a listing of available data under (when logged in with
your DSS/RDA username and password):
http://dss.ucar.edu/datasets/ds330.2/data/
As a reminder for other users, the package itself can be downloaded
from:
http://dss.ucar.edu/datasets/ds330.2/software/

Dear Doug Schuster,
Many Thanks for the TIGGE data processing package. Great work, very
useful for users like us.
I want some clarification on the issue of using "centers" for
example egrr, kwbc, babj, where can i get detail on these?
With Best wishes and Regards

It should be noted that this package is configurable to download
user specified parameters on a recurring basis (i.e. download total
precipitation grids from all producing centers 1 time/day for the
12z forecast cycle on current day - 4).
