SUBJECT: Transition of NCEP WPC Probabilistic Winter
Precipitation Forecasts in Percentile Format for
Days 1-3 from Experimental to Operational
Effective September 16, 2013
Effective Monday, September 16, 2013, at 1200 Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC), the National Centers for Environmental
Predictions (NCEP) Weather Prediction Center (WPC) will
transition its Probabilistic Winter Precipitation Forecasts in
percentile format for Days 1-3 from experimental to operational
status.
