Thanks, Brendon! One telling piece of info today: I have been getting
signal readings around -45 dBm over the last few days since I disconnected
my coax from a pass-through UPS. Again, I have a 3.7 meter dish, a Norsat
3120 LNB, and RG-11 coax direct to my Novra, and look what *light* rain
moving in did to my signal this morning, west of Chicago:
http://noaaport.admin.niu.edu:8025/Link budget much? :-( That pretty much tells the tale why we're having so many reception issues, in part. The signal is barely strong enough to work with good weather...maybe. A big maybe. More power, Scotty!
