[needdata] Archived METAR files?

Hello, this has been mentioned before on either needata or gembud, but I
can't seem to find it.  Does anyone know of a site where METAR netcdf files
are archived?

i.e. Surface_METAR_200001.nc, Surface_METAR_200002.nc, etc

 

Similar to
http://motherlode.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/ldm/genweb?decoded/netcdf/surface/metar
and http://thredds.ucar.edu/thredds/catalog/station/metar/catalog.html, but
with archives going back several years.
