I've been meaning to let the community know that the UW-Madison AOS idd relay
idd.aos.wisc.edu still exists and is available for use as a primary or as a
backup to idd.unidata.wisc.edu. Please email me with the details of your idd
machine(s) and I'll get you set up.
Side note - we also run a thredds server which is intended to be a mirror of
the real-time data available at thredds.ucar.edu - though I sometimes fall
behind on config changes that are made there.
The UW-AOS thredds server is available for community use at
thredds.aos.wisc.edu.

The NSF Unidata server hosted at the Space Science and Engineering Center
(SSEC) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison

decommissioned.
