Given the subject line, I read this email thread with great trepidation.

Needless to say, I'm impressed. Congratulations!

While the LDM server behaved as it should (no REQUEST entries and no ALLOW
entries means no need to run), the ldmadmin(1) script doesn't handle this
possibility as well as it might. I'll add this to the issues list.
