Better yet, here is the clearing house ftp server definitions from NOAA - direct from TG:

Use wget and pqinsert within a script, and you would be in business . . . at least locally.

I'm sure if the desire was strong enough, you could take the output from
this feed (which is ready for LDM) and ingest it into a new IDD feed.
I was looking at EMWIN, not NOAAport, though. I want to use it in  
case the NOAAport feed goes out and EMWIN stays on (as was the case  
on Saturday evening).
