How to turn off file logged messages

I now see that the LDM is logging all these messages, and my ldmd.logfiles are around 10 mb/day now. Any way that this can be a flag, to turnoff/on as needed? I don't need for the LDM to tell me right now thatthings have been filed. I can pretty much tell when that happens. :-)
