How does one handle grid based data for IDV? The SAQM uses the same grid as my MM5 output. The data is calculated at a grid cell center that has it on lat lon coordinate.
We suggest using the CF 1.0 conventions:

for gridded data. The IDV supports much of this convention for
gridded data at the moment and we are working for full compliance.
