Haldun, The GEMPAK convention is a full barb for 10 Units. By plotting as knots, a full barb of 10 is approximately 5 m/s (eg 5.144 m/s, conversion is 1.944 kts = 1 m/s) which is the convention that most show. Steve Chiswell Unidata User Support On Thu, 15 Nov 2007, haldun karan wrote:
