MariLiza,

I can't help with ECMWF decoders and there is no easy script to convertBUFR 
into netCDF. But, I'm working on a BUFR engine in java that will decode
Bufr data. Currently it's not available but will be in a couple of weeks. It 
should be able to convert some BUFR data into netCDF format. Could you make 
availble a test file so i could try to convert it. You should sign up for the 
netCDF decoders email list at Unidata to see when the decoder package will be
released.
