I'm trying to install the Perl NetCDF module on a workstation and
downloaded the file you point to on your webpage:

However, upon downloading it and opening it up, it appears to me that
this is the netcdf package rather than Perl/NetCDF. The README file
says nothing about Perl. Is this the right package??? I want the
netcdf/Perl library for HP-UX.

The netcdf-perl package requires the installation of;
netcdf
udunits
netcdf-perl
decoders
packages. I did a new install the other day and the total time was about
60 minutes but I am familar with the install processs. It's not really
that hard, just go to the packages pages for the source.
